These three sites sit side by side and tell a single, sweeping story, the empire's games, its politics, and its legendary beginnings, and seeing them together with an expert guide is the classic way to meet the ancient city.
The Colosseum
Start your visit without unnecessary delays thanks to your reserved schedule. Your guide begins with a detailed exploration of the Colosseum's exterior, completed in 80 AD, the largest amphitheatre the Roman world ever built, before you explore the first and second tiers inside, learning how a crowd of tens of thousands once filled these stands and what the games meant as a symbol of Roman power and entertainment. (Arena floor and underground access are not part of this tour.)
The Forum and the Palatine
Next, step into the Roman Forum, the bustling centre of ancient public life, where your guide brings the temples, basilicas and monuments to life with the stories of the emperors, senators and citizens who shaped history here, from the Temple of Saturn to the Arch of Septimius Severus. The tour includes entrance tickets to all three sites, an expert guide, personal headsets, and a group limited to 25 participants. Meet your host at the Arch of Constantine 30 minutes before your entry time. ID is mandatory and names must exactly match your booking, security can deny entry otherwise, without refund. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water: you'll be walking through 2,000 years of history, and it's worth every step.

- The exact name and last name of all participants must be provided at time of booking, in case of mistakes, security staff may deny access and no refund will be provided. Name changes are not permitted.
- Meet your host at the Arch of Constantine 30 minutes before your scheduled entry time.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water.
- Security checks may cause minor delays at the entrance.
- Some Colosseum and Roman Forum areas may have uneven surfaces, so be cautious while walking.
- The tour is wheelchair accessible, but some areas may be challenging to navigate.
- Please note this tour does not include access to the arena or underground.
- When you purchase our service, it includes the entrance fee to the archaeological sites, which is €18 for adults (or €24 for the Arena option), along with a €2 booking fee. Children under 18 have free entry (Reservation is mandatory). The remaining portion of the payment covers essential services such as meeting point assistance, office support, booking fees, a digital audio guide, and other related services to enhance your overall experience. Closing hours vary with daylight savings.
- Please not that the tour itinerary may vary in order, depending on site conditions or scheduling optimization. While all mentioned areas (Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill) are included the tour, the sequence of the visits might be adjusted, for example, the tour may start with the Roman Forum before entering the Colosseum.
- Opening hours and last entry times for the Colosseum and Roman Forum vary by season. From March 30 to September 30, sites close at 7:15 PM (last entry at 6:15 PM); from October 1 to October 25, closing is at 6:30 PM (last entry at 5:30 PM); and from October 26 to February 28, sites close at 4:30 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM).
